40 Days in the WORD..
Begins February 5th -March 17th, 2012
"The Bible isn't meant to just inform us, it is meant to transform us..
40 Days in the Word will teach you how to be not just a hearer of the Word,
but a doer of the Word."     Rick Warren
    LOVE..LEARN..AND LIVE THE WORD..
If you are not yet in a small group what are you waiting for???

Because life is about relationships
Our PURPOSE

We want to provide a safe and loving environment where ALL people can experience the oneness that Jesus desires for them.

“I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one.” John 17:22 (NIV)

Our DREAM
is  that "Every person feels and acts like part of the family”

“I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are

one.” John
17:22 (NIV)

Our Groups are NOT:

An "Add On" Ministry

Short Term

Bible Studies/Sunday School

Separate from the Church

Our Groups ARE:

about
community and growth and when they come together, they

transform our relationships with each other and our relationship with Christ.

Our FOCUS is:

on having the right balance between fellowship and discipleship in each

group. We want to find common ground between our group leaders and

members in the following areas:

-Similar or Like Interests

It is important for you and the rest of your group to have common interests,

because without them, it would be difficult to fellowship together.

-Geographic Groups

We want it to be convenient for you to be a part of a group by

having it close to your home.

-Age Relation

We have groups that are easy for you to relate to because they are your peers

and are going through similar situations and they are there to support you in

your time in need, as you are there for them in theirs.

The
purposes of a man's heart are deep waters, but a man of

understanding draws them out.
Proverbs 20:5 (NIV)

Too Busy?

ANYONE can make excuses, but we are ALL called to make a difference!

Each one should use  whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's in it's various forms.  1 Peter 4:10 (NIV)

At the end of the day, we are called to make disciples and to love each other...

The Great Commission [Matthew 28:18-20]
Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

 The Great Commandment [John 13:34-35]
"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."

Our CURRICULUM:
is independently chosen and very flexible and will have common studies two or three times a year. Our first common study will be "Life's Healing Choices" for the first eight weeks.
Because our groups are independent, they will each have curriculum that they will be done using after four or so weeks. We have a "Sharing Library" which allows groups to pick a series that another group has already done and prevents the need to constantly be buying new materials (covered by the church). If for any reason a group decides not to chose a discussion from a book or some other material, they can use our default study "B.I.G." B.I.G. stands for Big Idea Groups and the material is five or so questions relating to sermons given by our own pastors.
Our curriculum is creative with discussions of life lessons, personal stories, and current events.
