Debbie Herbst
About Debbie
Graduating with an Elementary and Special Education degree from Indiana Wesleyan University gave her many opportunities to invest in the academic and sometimes personal lives of young people, but not necessarily their spiritual lives. The summer of 2007, Debbie interned at the Abraham Project in Costa Rica. God revealed Himself and made missions come alive in her life as she served children who were abandoned and assisted in the construction of the third children’s home. She is now excited to prepare mission experiences for teens that will move them out of their comfort zones and challenge them in their walk with Christ.
Touch the World has given her the opportunity to follow the calling God placed on her life, being involved in missions on a larger scale and building meaningful relationships with young people. She is very excited to see what God has in store for the future!

About Touch the World
Touch the World is a youth organization that strives to moves teens from apathy to energy primarily through short term mission trips. Our mission is to introduce young people to Jesus Christ through various effective ministries, disciple them into the local body of assembled believers and equip them to reach others with the Gospel. We also equip young people with a sense of belonging, competence and worth in order to bring about an internal, lasting change that will enable them to stand strong in their moral and biblical convictions.
